In Fall of 2012, Delta Kappa Delta Baylor Colony won the Pursing Excellence award for attending nine different Ignite Leadership Series. It was a new leadership initiative for student organization officers and student leaders were challenged by concepts relating to: Officer Transition, Member Recruitment, Finances and Budgeting, T-Shirts and Trademarks, Service, Fundraising, Organizational Health, Retreat Planning, and Resume Building. Student organizations with representatives attending at least 75% of all sessions received a ‘Pursuing Excellence' award.
